I am shocked and appalled to read another blog on Google Blogger which launches a really malicious attack on this little estate agency in Duras, as well as slanderous comments about two of the people who work there, Jerry and Caroline Green
I bought my property from Cle Rouge in 2011, having met them at the France Show; without them I would not have found the beautiful region around Duras where I now live.
They could not have been more friendly and helpful, and my wife and I often still drop into their office to ask for their help (and knowledge of French !!) when we have a problem.
I have just finished two days of voluntary grape-picking at Domaine Gourdon, a vineyard run by the partner of one of the owners of Cle Rouge, and ALL of the grape-pickers were people who had bought properties from Cle Rouge.......... we've established an unofficial "grape-picking club" which is great fun (of course the big traditional vendage supper with copious amounts of wine helps...!!!).
I have met lots of people who have bought or sold properties using Cle Rouge, and have never heard anything negative about them.
Yes, they are certainly enthusiastic and put a lot of effort into their job (if you saw Jerry or Caroline on the ITV series "Property Hunt in France", or attended one of Jerry's seminars at a property show, you will also know that they also have extremely wicked senses of humour !!), but surely that's a good thing?
It's pretty obvious that the malicious blog has been written by one of Clé Rouge's competitors; if you want to know what the agency is really like, just come to Duras and ask around.
